If you’re planning a trip to California with children, then you have no excuse not to visit DisneyLand. Even if you’re not going with the whole family, this is a truly magical place that needs to be seen to be believed. Although many of the attractions are catered to kids, there are plenty of things for adults to do as well. Not to mention all of the rides, which are perfect for thrill seekers. If you get a chance, make sure you get at least one day at DisneyLand.

San Francisco

Many people head to Florida when they go to California, but they could be missing a trick. San Francisco is a lot less crowded during the holiday season, and there are so many things to see and do. You could take a trip to the eery Alcatraz Island, for your little slice of history. Or perhaps take a ride on the famous cable car, to get a good view of the city. Don’t forget to stop off at the Golden Gate Bridge for some breathtaking photos that will turn your friends green with envy.

Oceanside

Head to the South Coast of California and you’ll come across this little gem. Although it’s popular with American tourists, it’s never as packed as some of the other coastal resorts. You can find some pretty beautiful furnished apartment rentals in Oceanside, California as well. The pier is absolutely stunning at night, and it’s packed with fun things to do. Hit the beach during the day and then dress up for a night on the town when the sun sets.

The Zoos and Safari Parks of San Diego

You’re going to be pretty spoilt for choice if you’re visiting San Diego. However, some of the must-visit attractions are the zoos and safari parks in the area. You won’t find this much wildlife in one place, back home! While you’re at the San Diego Zoo, you should also visit the rest of Balboa Park. It’s absolutely stunning and packed with fun activities. If you’re an outdoor lover, this will ensure your holiday is a dream come true.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Of course, no trip to California is complete without a quick visit of Hollywood. Although many tourists find that it’s far too hectic for them, it’s worth a day trip if possible. Make your way up the Hollywood Boulevard and see if you can spot your favourite actors. If you’ve got a bit more time to kill then book one of those celebrity spotting tours. You never know who you might bump into!

There’s so much on offer in California, depending on what you want to get out of your holiday. Fancy some celeb-spotting? You can do that. Want something fun for the whole family? You can do that too. Even if you just want a relaxing beach vacation, California always delivers.
